Atlite and CDI have produced the first bushfire rated skylight designed and manufactured in Australia.

The pioneering design is compliant with the strict building and safety standards for buildings in high bushfire risk areas.

It boasts a five star energy rating, patented intellectual property, and is the first Australian made roof window with ISO accreditation.

"The design has completely revolutionised Atlite Skylights' manufacturing process.," says project lead, Dr Blair Kuys.

"The efficient extrusion based design allows the new roof window to be assembled 75% faster than the previous skylights that Atlite manufactured".

Blair's team provides innovative design service, with thorough research, to ensure commercially viable outcomes.

"It's really pleasing that we can deliver a product to a company, that is keeping jobs in Australia and strengthening the country's manufacturing industry."
