Design and fit-out of Vileda’s head office, Melbourne Australia

Article by Annika Sutter

CDI had been speaking with Vileda regarding collaboration opportunities when the topic of their new office came up.

Although this isn’t a traditional product development or research project, a brief was put together around understand Vileda’s current workflow and an analysis was carried out to fully understand what did and did not work with their current space.

The design and fit-out of their new head office were handled as per any other design project. CDI met with Vileda on multiple occasions to ensure we understood exactly what they needed from their new space, designed and presented concepts, quoted the fit-out component and begun the exciting project of designing and fitting their brand new office.

The project is currently underway, with their existing space completely stripped out and aluminium framework being erected in preparation for an almost completely glass wall office environment. Ensuring as much light as possible was brought into the space whilst keeping to a tight budget has been the biggest challenge, one that the industry professionals within CDI have handled extremely well.

The project is due to finish in the second week of October-'after' images to come.
