Technology and behaviour change

Article by Annika Sutter

This project looks at creating a template for designing mobile applications in order to change behaviour associated with alcohol.

The project's initial focus was to identify applications used by people who want to cut down their alcohol intake, understand how they help people, and how they were reviewed by users. The project has now been expanded to assess application on other application distributors, such as Google Play.

The final outcome will be the generation of more cohesive design guidelines, based on users perception, to ultimately create better applications to assist behaviour change.
